The Malaysian Deputy Minister of Education, Wong Kah Woh, revealed that the redevelopment project of the SKJB Tamil School (SJKT) in Dungkil is advancing rapidly, having achieved a completion rate of 65.14%, surpassing the original target of 50% set for March. This progress places the project approximately 15.14% ahead of the scheduled timeline, suggesting that completion may occur before the deadline of October 12 this year.
Wong stated to reporters following a site visit that the government hopes to expedite the completion process to finish 90 days before the deadline, emphasizing that the key objective is to complete the project before the contract period ends. The project, which costs 13.3 million Malaysian Ringgit, aims to replace the old buildings that have been classified as dilapidated and unsafe.

The project includes the construction of two main blocks: an administrative block and an academic block that will house eight classrooms, in addition to a new kindergarten with two classrooms and a suitable open hall.
