The Indonesian Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has announced the commencement of a new housing project in the city of Bandung, based on the concept of Transit-Oriented Development (TOD). This project aims to provide affordable housing units for low-income individuals and will utilize unused land owned by the Indonesian railway company.
During a site visit, Minister of Housing Marwoto Sirot confirmed that the project will be established in two strategic areas: Laswi and Kiara Condong. He explained that these locations were carefully selected to be suitable for the development of integrated vertical housing units.

The minister noted that the available area for the project is approximately 1.5 hectares, providing significant potential for expansion. Coordination has been established with the Bandung city government and the West Java provincial government to develop detailed plans for this project.
