The Doha Film Institute has announced the organization of the 12th edition of the Qumra Film Festival in a virtual format, given the difficult circumstances the region is facing due to the war. The festival, which will be held online, aims to provide networking opportunities and mentorship for 49 projects from 39 countries, during the period from March 27 to April 8.
This edition of Qumra continues to support filmmakers who are embarking on their first or second experiences, offering special mentorship and access to key industry experts, in addition to developing projects at various stages of production.
