Indonesia's Minister of Agriculture and Spatial Planning, Nushron Wahid, announced a government plan to complete 400 detailed urban planning plans (RDTR) during the current year. This step is part of the Indonesian government's efforts to enhance investments and improve the licensing system, with an additional budget of 998 billion rupiah allocated to achieve this goal.
During a working meeting with the Internal Affairs Committee of the Indonesian Parliament, Wahid clarified that the government aims to prepare 1,200 detailed plans at the provincial and city levels, to be implemented gradually between 2026 and 2028, with a total budget estimated at 3.82 trillion rupiah.

As part of this project, the Minister of Agriculture and Spatial Planning aims to expedite the implementation of 309 regional planning plans (RTRW) nationwide, which will also be completed in phases by 2028. A budget of 361 billion rupiah has been allocated for this purpose in the 2026 budget.
