Indonesian Minister of Culture, Fahri Zon, announced the allocation of 500 billion rupiah to support culture in 2026, as part of a comprehensive plan to increase the total cultural fund to 6 trillion rupiah. This announcement was made during a press conference titled "Indonesiaria Fund" held in Jakarta, where the fund's name was changed from "Indonesiana Fund" to "Indonesiaria Fund", coinciding with the restructuring of the Ministry of Culture established a year and a half ago.
Zon explained that this funding will be directed to support cultural actors, contributing to enhancing cultural activities and achieving a more sustainable and diverse cultural environment. He noted that the fund will enable support for 12 different programs, including enhancing cultural ecology and preserving intangible cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO.

With increasing demand, the number of applications submitted rose to 2,118, with approximately 2,100 projects selected for support. He also indicated that the fund management programs in 2025 supported 2,117 beneficiaries with 141.7 billion rupiah, representing an increase of 511.85% compared to the previous year.
So far, 594 billion rupiah has been distributed to 3,036 beneficiaries, reflecting the fund's success in achieving its cultural objectives.
