During the tour, Engineer Ahmed Omran reviewed a presentation on the implementation status of the infrastructure projects, which included an overview of stations, networks, and roads. The tour also involved inspecting utility works in the 'Beit Al-Watan' area in the eastern extension, where the ongoing implementation of road projects and water and sewage networks was monitored, preparing for the arrival of residents and supporting urban development efforts.
In this context, housing officials followed up on the implementation of sewage line connections across the city, aiming to transfer part of the discharges to the Yellow Mountain system, which contributes to enhancing network efficiency and improving service levels. The connection works included the implementation of a link on a sewage line with a diameter of 1600 mm connected to the Yellow Mountain line at the Shawyfat station, in addition to another link on a line with a diameter of 1500 mm at the Yasmeen and Mirage stations.
