The Secretary of the Al-Baha Region, Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Suwat, launched the Green Heritage Initiative in the presence of the Director General of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the region, Engineer Fahd Muftah, along with several officials from governmental departments and non-profit organizations, in addition to over 700 volunteers.
The initiative aims to plant more than 20,000 local seedlings in the city of Al-Baha and its affiliated provinces, covering designated pedestrian pathways, parks, public squares, and median strips between roads.
