PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara has announced the initial launch of Cooperative Merah Putih, a project aimed at enhancing the local economy in Indonesia, which will run for two years. This announcement was made by the company's CEO, Joao Angelo de Souza Mota, during a press conference in the capital, Jakarta.
Joao confirmed that the project will be implemented in a modern and professional manner, focusing on digitalization and allowing local community participation in managing the cooperative. He noted that 97% of the profits generated from this project will return to the villages and local communities, reflecting the company's commitment to supporting local development.

According to Joao, 82% of the profits allocated to the villages will be distributed monthly to local residents in the form of vouchers. These vouchers can be used to purchase a variety of essential goods such as gas, medicines, stationery, electricity, and rice. Zulkifli Hasan, the Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, also mentioned that PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara has been tasked with managing the initial operations of the cooperative, based on the directives of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
