The Jakarta Traffic Management (Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya) has announced the launch of mobile driver's license renewal services (SIM Keliling) at five different locations, starting from Monday. The service will operate from 08:00 AM to 02:00 PM and will be available at the following locations: in front of Grand Cakung Mall in East Jakarta, the main lobby of LTC Glodok Center in North Jakarta, the parking area next to Trilogi University in South Jakarta, the southern lobby of Ciputra Mall in West Jakarta, and finally, the waiting area at the post office in Laban Pantig in Central Jakarta.

The process of renewing a driver's license requires the submission of several documents, including a copy of a valid National Identity Card (KTP), the old driver's license with a copy, as well as proof of a health examination and a psychological test. It is noted that the service is only aimed at renewing licenses that are still valid, specifically class A and class C licenses. If the license has expired, the holder must apply for a new license at the Driver's License Service Center (Satpas SIM) in Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.
The renewal fee for a class A driver's license is 80,000 Indonesian Rupiah and 75,000 Rupiah for class C, in addition to extra fees for the psychological test costing 60,000 Rupiah and the health check costing 35,000 Rupiah. Driving without a valid driver's license is considered a legal violation, with penalties including imprisonment for up to one month or a fine of up to 250,000 Rupiah.
