Heavy rainfall and strong winds caused the fall of 33 trees in Bandung, Indonesia, on Friday, leading to the closure of several roads and a tragic incident that resulted in one death. The local disaster management agency (BPBD) reported that the incidents began around 2 PM local time.
Agung Rahmat Riyati, a disaster analyst at BPBD, explained that most of the fallen trees obstructed traffic, causing significant congestion in several areas, including the Pasteur area, where a large tree fell on the road leading to the entrance of the highway.
