Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) is preparing to welcome 11,909 new students through the National Selection Based on Test (SNBT) for the 2026 academic year, as the Ujian Tertulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK) exams commenced today. This large number of candidates is competing for 3,326 available seats, highlighting the strong interest in this educational institution.
University rector, Professor Ahmad Alim Bakri, confirmed that all technical preparations for the exam are proceeding smoothly, noting that ULM is equipped to accommodate 12,900 students for this exam. It is anticipated that 11,358 students will participate in the exams, which will take place from April 21 to 29, 2026, divided into two sessions daily.

The UTBK exams at ULM are conducted in two daily sessions, with the morning session starting at 07:45 Indonesia time, while the afternoon session begins at 13:30. To facilitate the examination process, the university has prepared 24 computer laboratories spread across 9 locations, equipped with 645 computers.
These locations include various university facilities, such as the main building, the LPMPP building, graduate study facilities, and different faculties of the university. ULM also ensures inclusivity in the examination process, with 5 students with disabilities participating in the UTBK, and necessary accommodations have been provided for them.
