spain's oldest carnival group rejects women's membership

The Sagunto Carnival group in Spain has rejected the integration of women into its ranks, despite its members voting in favor of changes to its rules to allow women to join. The decision was made after 267 out of 381 members voted against the changes, while 114 voted in favor.
