Require Voter ID for Local Elections in England Starting May

In a new measure aimed at enhancing electoral integrity, all voters in England casting their ballots in person for local elections on May 7 must present a photo ID. Voters in Scotland and Wales will not need to provide ID for similar elections on the same day.
