Hosting Asian Journalists' General Assembly
Indonesia is set to host the General Assembly of the Asian Journalists Association in Kuala Lumpur from April 26 to 30, 2026, aiming to enhance professional cooperation among journalists in the region. Led by Ahmad Munir, the Indonesian journalists' union will participate in the event to discuss vital issues such as press freedom and combating misinformation. The assembly is expected to strengthen ties between Indonesian journalists and their counterparts in other Asian countries.
