Announce new metro schedule changes in Singapore ahead of new stations
The Singapore Transport Authority has announced a reduction in operating hours for the DTL and TEL MRT lines in preparation for the upcoming opening of new stations. This change is part of the preparations for the fifth phase of the Thomson-East Coast Line and the Downtown Line extension, expected to launch in the second half of 2026.
