Russia Proposes Initiatives for a WMD-Free Zone in the Middle East
Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's permanent representative to international organizations, announced that Russia may propose new initiatives aimed at establishing a zone free of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction in the Middle East. He emphasized that this idea will remain on the international agenda until it is realized.
