Germany seeks digital independence to counter US cloud law pressures
German municipalities, ministries, and companies face significant challenges due to their reliance on American software, exposing their data to political pressures under the US Cloud Act. In response, the Digital Sovereignty Center for Public Administration (ZenDiS) aims to develop solutions that enhance Germany's digital independence.
