Chinese University Punishes Leading Cancer Researcher for Misconduct
Tongji University in China has taken disciplinary action against prominent cancer researcher Wang Bing after discovering academic misconduct in a study published in 2025. The study, which claimed that depriving cancer cells of valine could damage DNA and slow tumor growth, was found to contain questionable data in 14 out of 15 images.
