Japan and France Forge Rare Earth Supply Agreement
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and French President Emmanuel Macron have announced a joint plan to diversify supplies of rare earth metals. This agreement includes a public-private project in France aimed at refining rare metals used in electric vehicle technologies.
