Impose Environmental Fines of 4.59 Million Ringgit After 5000 Inspections in Malaysia
The Malaysian Ministry of Environment has announced the imposition of environmental fines totaling <strong>4.59 million ringgit</strong> following over <strong>5000 inspections</strong> of industrial facilities during the first four months of 2026. These fines are a result of violations of the Environmental Quality Act of 1974.
