Increase in Evangelical Churches in Catalonia Driven by Immigrants
Catalonia has witnessed a significant demographic shift over the past two decades, with the number of evangelical churches doubling from 341 in 2004 to 894 in 2025. This growth is largely attributed to Latin American immigrants, particularly in Barcelona, where the number of evangelical churches is nearing that of Catholic churches.
