Court rules in favor of Sherine: fines and compensation awarded
A Cairo Economic Misdemeanor Court has ruled in favor of Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, imposing a fine of <strong>50,000 EGP</strong> on the defendant for illegally seizing her social media accounts and awarding her <strong>20,000 EGP</strong> in civil compensation.
