Indonesia Implements Nutri-Level System to Reduce Sugar Consumption
The Indonesian Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) has announced its support for government efforts to combat non-communicable diseases by implementing the Nutri-Level system, aimed at reducing sugar and fat consumption. This initiative was revealed during the signing of a project to amend regulations regarding nutritional information on processed food labels.
