Propose Establishing Council to Monitor Lawyers in Indonesia
In a bid to enhance the quality of legal services, the chairman of the Indonesian Lawyers Association, Junifer Girsang, has proposed the formation of a council to monitor lawyers through a new bill currently being prepared by the Indonesian parliament's third committee. This proposal comes amid a rising number of lawyers without effective oversight mechanisms.
