China unveils 14-kilometer underwater railway tunnel under Yangtze
China has completed the underwater section of a high-speed railway tunnel extending over <strong>14 kilometers</strong> beneath the Yangtze River. This ambitious project aims to connect <strong>Chongming Island</strong> in Shanghai with <strong>Taikang City</strong> in the neighboring Jiangsu Province, with completion expected by the end of this year.
