Atico Pharma Egypt is targeting sales of $10 million by the end of this year, representing a 50% increase, according to CEO Waheed Atique.
Atique stated that the company plans to increase its exports to $6 million during the year 2026, compared to $4 million in exports achieved by the end of last year. The company operates a factory in the Suez Canal Economic Zone dedicated to producing various types of intravenous medical solutions.
Details of the Expansion
Atique explained that the factory includes two production lines and spans an area of 20,000 square meters, allowing for optimal utilization of space. He also mentioned that the company intends to add a third production line next year to increase production capacity and expand into foreign markets.
The company currently has a portfolio of about 25 products, with plans to increase this to over 30 products by the end of 2026, aiming to fill the import gap in strategic intravenous solutions.

Atico Pharma aims to expand its exports to several European markets such as Italy, Belgium, Norway, and Hungary in the upcoming period. Last week, Mustafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, inaugurated the second phase of Atico Pharma's factory within the industrial developer Orascom's integrated industrial area in Sokhna, with investments amounting to $10 million, raising the total investment in the project to $60 million.
