The Water Resources Management in Panggang Island, part of the Seribu Islands district, has announced the commencement of a new project to build fully equipped underground drainage channels. Additionally, wells for water drainage will be installed, with each well measuring 40 cm × 40 cm and a depth of 50 cm. These measures come in response to the demands of residents who have suffered from repeated flooding in the area.

The project is being executed by a team of 11 individuals, who are manually digging the ground and installing the necessary pipes. The wells are connected by pipes with a diameter of 4 inches, facilitating the flow of water underground. Once the wells are installed, they will be secured with panels to ensure safety.
