Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, presented the various projects implemented in Badr City during the past year, 2022. The minister stressed the importance of enhancing services provided to citizens, noting the completion of numerous housing projects, road developments, and improvements in electricity and utilities, alongside the landscaping and beautification of many neighborhoods.
The Minister of Housing explained that one of the ministry's priorities is the allocation of more than 188 service plots with diverse areas and activities, including commercial, administrative, educational, and medical activities, in addition to establishing sports clubs, hotels, and car service centers. These initiatives aim to meet the needs of the city's residents and enhance their quality of life.

Engineer Ammar Mandour, head of the Badr City Development Authority, pointed out that the housing sector has allocated 376 buildings comprising 9024 housing units designed with 3 rooms and a living room, as part of the first phase for employees relocating to the New Administrative Capital. The second phase is currently underway, consisting of a total of 196 buildings with 4704 housing units, where the implementation rate has reached 82%. The third phase of the project includes 295 buildings with 7080 housing units, with an implementation rate of 37%.
Regarding other housing projects, 1128 housing units have been launched in the Dar Misr project under the mortgage finance initiative, and 351 buildings comprising 8424 units are being delivered as part of the presidential initiative
