The Aceh Besar government has announced the allocation of 20 billion rupiah in the 2026 budget to support the development of strategic infrastructure on Pulau Aceh. During his visit to Pulau Aceh, Idris explained that the projects include the construction of new roads and irrigation networks, with work sites identified in areas such as Gampong Luah and Gampong Serabong, in addition to improving the irrigation network in Pulau Breuh. He confirmed that all projects are in the preparation phase for bidding, with expectations for implementation to begin soon.

Infrastructure Development Details

The infrastructure development plan includes the construction of a road extending 650 meters from Gampong Luah to Gampong Lampuyang, with a budget of 3.76 billion rupiah. Another road, measuring 1,750 meters, will be built between Gampong Gocub and Serabong, with a budget of 7.84 billion rupiah.

In addition to roads, the projects also encompass improvements to the irrigation network, which will involve rehabilitating a network of 573 meters, enhancing irrigation channels of 213 meters, installing 600 meters of water pipes, and constructing a water well in Gampong Uli Bayah at a cost of 570 million rupiah. These projects aim to meet the water needs for agriculture on 46 hectares of farmland.
