MGPA Director Briandi Satriya confirmed that young Indonesian driver Siawan Jilal will participate in the 2026 GT Challenge in Asia, which will be held at the Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia from May 1 to 3. Siawan is scheduled to arrive in Mandalika on Wednesday, where he will conduct individual training on Thursday before the competitions that will take place from Friday to Sunday. He expressed his excitement for this participation, especially after conducting several tests on the track at the end of March, where he recorded an impressive time of 1 minute and 33.532 seconds.
