In a move aimed at improving the urban environment, the North Jakarta Parks and Forestry Office has announced a project to convert an illegal dump site in the Kincana area into a beautiful park. Aditya Febriansky, head of the implementation unit at the Parks Department, stated that the project is part of ongoing efforts to organize urban spaces. The new park will cover an area of approximately 40 square meters, where thousands of ornamental plants have been planted, including varieties such as Handjuang Kribo and Pandan Bali. The design of the park aims to enhance visual aesthetics while improving the land's ability to absorb water, utilizing gravel to enhance this property.
Aditya noted that the project's completion rate is around 90%, with work expected to finish by the end of this week. The project commenced in early April 2026, with a team of five individuals equipped with the necessary tools.
