Malaysia's Prime Minister Acknowledges Justice Gaps and Promises Reforms

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has acknowledged that many of the country's poorest and marginalized groups still suffer from a lack of effective access to justice. This statement was made during his speech at the opening of the Commonwealth Legal Education Conference at the University of Malaya.
