Singapore Shifts Management of Iconic One Punggol Hawker Centre to Hawkermania
Singaporean authorities have announced a major operational overhaul for one of the island's premier hawker centres, with Hawkermania set to assume management of One Punggol from August 14, 2026. The transition marks the premature conclusion of Timbre + Hawkers' contract, which will end one year ahead of schedule despite its original three-year term, amid the city-state's ongoing efforts to maintain rigorous standards in its UNESCO-recognized hawker culture.
