UN condemns attacks on peacekeepers in Lebanon as violations
The United Nations has reported that attacks on its peacekeeping forces in Lebanon constitute a violation of Security Council Resolution <strong>1701</strong>, adopted after the 2006 Lebanon War. The UN also highlighted that the presence of Israeli forces in Lebanon is another violation.
