Strong earthquake strikes Ternate, causing casualties and damage
A magnitude <strong>7.6</strong> earthquake struck the <strong>Ternate</strong> region in Indonesia this morning, resulting in one death and injuries to another person. The quake, which occurred off the coast of <strong>Batang Dua</strong>, led to partial destruction of buildings in <strong>Manado</strong>.
