Indonesia Announces New Penalties for Agricultural Land Conversion
The Indonesian government has announced a new regulation imposing penalties for converting protected agricultural land to non-agricultural uses. This decision comes in response to the conversion of approximately <strong>600,000 hectares</strong> of agricultural land since 2019.
