The floods that swept through Grobogan province in Indonesia have disrupted train services on the northern line, as the Indonesian Railway Company (PT KAI) announced that the floods submerged part of the railway track between Karangjati and Gobog since dawn on Friday.
PT KAI's Public Relations Manager, Luqman Arif, explained that the water level rose to 25 cm, leading to the closure of one of the tracks. Measures have been taken to minimize the impact on train services, allowing trains to pass alternately through the other track.
