On Monday, the Regent of Madiun, Harry Wuryanto, launched the journey of 450 pilgrims from the Madiun region to the pilgrimage families in Surabaya, during a ceremony held at the Bandowo Rongo Djumino square in Karuban. Wuryanto expressed his hope that all pilgrims would be able to perform their rituals safely and return to their homeland in good health.
Wuryanto confirmed, saying: "We hope that all pilgrims go in good health and return also in good health. We want them to perform the pilgrimage sincerely and return with the title of the accepted pilgrim."
