This announcement was made during the signing of a cooperation agreement between the city of Pantarmasin and the districts of Banjar and Barito Kuala.
Hanifah Dwi Nirwana, the ministry's advisor for inter-institutional relations, confirmed that this agreement serves as the primary foundation for accelerating the construction of PSEL facilities that rely on environmentally friendly WTE technologies. She explained that the waste conversion process includes incineration or gasification to produce thermal energy, while PSEL facilities convert this thermal energy into electricity that can be fed into the national power grid.
