Ecotech, a company specializing in digital transformation and business automation, is set to conduct a funding round worth $1 million by the end of this year. This round aims to bolster the company's plans for expansion in the Saudi market over the next two years, in addition to exploring opportunities to enter the Qatari market, according to Mohamed Murshid, the founder and CEO of the company.
During a roundtable organized by the company, Murshid explained that Ecotech was founded in 2019 in Kuwait with an initial capital of approximately KWD 150,000, which was later increased to KWD 250,000. He noted that Kuwait and Saudi Arabia represent the largest share of the company's activity, each accounting for 40%, while Egypt only represents 20%.
Event Details
Ecotech is working to assist organizations in transitioning from traditional manual systems to more efficient operational environments that rely on technology and data. Since its inception, the number of the company's clients has surpassed 100 clients, spread across various sectors including manufacturing, retail, distribution, construction, professional services, energy, and some quasi-governmental entities.
