Indonesian company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) announced that vehicles powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) represent an effective solution for clean and environmentally friendly energy, especially given the significant increase in travel during the Eid al-Fitr period. This announcement came during the Panjkel Kiling program held at the gas filling station in Cirebon, West Java.
Fajrieh Othman, the company's executive secretary, explained that the program titled Panjkel Standby Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH demonstrated that using compressed natural gas could be a more efficient and cleaner option under current circumstances. Services were provided around the clock, with a record of service provided to 55 vehicles, including 40 Bajaj vehicles and 15 gas-powered vehicles.
