The estimated cost of B100 is around RM4.50 per liter, a price that could help reduce reliance on traditional diesel. With a price below RM5.00 per liter, this project could assist in stabilizing local fuel prices and enhancing national energy security.

Shabery also pointed out the necessity of expanding the development of B100 biodiesel processing plants in collaboration with FGV Holdings Bhd to increase production capacity. Discussions are currently underway regarding potential partnership models, whether through full private sector participation, government support, or collaboration with other parties.
