PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) announced its success in transporting 311,472 passengers via the Whoosh train during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period from March 13 to 30, 2026. Eva Chairunisa, the General Manager of Corporate Affairs at KCIC, stated that this increase indicates that the Whoosh train has become the preferred choice for travelers, especially given the significant rise in mobility among citizens. During the holiday period, the Whoosh train recorded a daily average of 17,304 passengers, with a daily peak reaching 24,315 passengers on March 24, 2026. In terms of passenger distribution, the highest number of passengers was at Halim Station with 143,652 passengers, followed by Padalarang Station with 110,398 passengers, then Tegalwar Station with 46,735 passengers, and finally Karawang Station with 10,687 passengers.
