PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk has announced its full preparations to handle the expected surge in traffic during the return period of Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH, which will peak on March 28 and 29, 2026. This announcement is part of the company's efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of travelers, as major roads, especially in the Jakarta area, are expected to experience heavy congestion.
In a statement, the company's director general, Rivan A. Burwantono, confirmed that there are predictions of increased traffic during the weekend, noting that certain rest points on the Trans Java route, such as KM 229B and KM 208B, may experience severe congestion. Therefore, he advised travelers to organize their trips and use alternative rest points.

Rivan explained that Jasa Marga will implement comprehensive operational plans, including the possibility of closing and opening rest points KM 62B and KM 52B on the Jakarta-Cikampek route as needed.
